Honors II

Honors Level 2 is for advanced student musicians with at least four years playing their string instrument. Students signing up for Honors Level 2 should be comfortable playing music that requires shifting, is written in multiple keys or meters, and contains advanced bowing techniques. These students should be willing and able to learn music quickly both in and out of rehearsal. High school students and advanced middle school students will push their abilities and musicianship to new levels in this ensemble. If you are unsure about which level of honors is right for your student, please consult your student's music teacher or contact us and we'll help you decide.

Honors Level 1 rehearses Monday, Wednesday, Friday for two weeks from 3:30-5:30 with a final performance on Saturday at 10:00. Click here to see the dates and locations for this year's camps. Tuition is $90 and includes instruction, materials, snacks, a photograph of the orchestra, and a SAIL Camp t-shirt.

Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch at school may be eligible for tuition assistance. For more information, click here.
